The watch display and packaging business

Our Watch Display and Packing business is operating under the trading name of Multibytes Technologies Ltd. .

This part of the business is our bread and butter business in our watch segment and we have our own factory in Shenzhen , China that produces designs from our design team based in Hong Kong.

In order to widen our customer base we have started participation of the Hong Kong Watch and Clock fair from 2005 and the results have been overwhelming. We shall continue to participate in this watch show so that we can maintain a closer contact with our overseas customers. We have now also started the introduction of packaging materials for the jewellery business and optical eyewear lines.

The restoration and parts supply business

Originally offering this service for a few friends back in 1998, but the high demand forced us to scale up a little, we used to operate under www.restoration.itgo.com which will now become a redirection link to this new site.

Being a fellow Rolex collector myself, I find the Rolex band to be the weakest link of the whole watch. Bands; be it Oyster, Jubilee or President bands; riveted or thick solid ones become loose after several years of normal use. You can hardly find good condition bands on old Rolexes and they really distract the looks. Rolex movements and cases are built like a tank and it is the only Brand of vintage watches that I feel comfortable for daily usage. Even the Pateks I own cannot achieve this status and this is a real statement

For the band restoration service, I have employed some expert watchmakers in China to help me take the whole band apart and practically not just refinish, I would say it is like a total RE-MANUFACTURING process. The process is no rocket science just pure dedicated hard work that is not affordable in the modern Western societies.

The process involves have special machine to take apart all band links, replacing the pins and worn springs, folding each piece back to the original shape and finally polishing it back to it original finish.

Now we have expanded services to totally restore the whole watch, including servicing and fixing the movement, dial repainting, hands plating and reluming, case back rethreading, engravings and custom parts manufacturing.
